So, I admit I'm borrowing this idea from Philotes (she is a lovely dear!), but should any of you be in the area of my shop today, do stop in for a free small assortment of chocolates! I'll also be giving them out to other customers--pick any six!

For those unable to make it, do let me know and I'll bring a bag back to the complex for you!

I will have to make a special trip down there. I have missed the simple pleasure of eating a piece of chocolate.

Would you allow me to take a few extra pieces with me? I would like to give some to Lady Artemis, and take some down to the nursing home I volunteer at as well. I think they would enjoy it. I don't need a terrible lot, and if I am over stepping my boundaries, do let me know.

Thank you, I truly appreciate it. I try to share with them as much as I can, as most get so little from their families.

There are about 20 residents that can have chocolate. The others are diabetic and sadly cannot enjoy things with sugar. Thankfully it is possible to buy sweets that are sugar free these days.

Oh! I was going to ask you about that, actually, since I know their health is closely monitored. I try to make sure to have an assortment of sweets for those who cannot have the regular sort. I'd hate for someone to not be able to enjoy such a simple thing!

It's not exactly the same, but it's truly close enough that even I indulge from time to time.

They are always looking for people willing to spend time with the residents, it isn't the most popular thing to do these days.

Which is a shame. I shall stop by this week. I'm in need of something more in my life and I'm sure the residents could use less time alone and lonely.
